Long before there was a business, a menu, or an event to plan, there was simply a love for bringing people together.

My family and friends can tell you—I was always the one inviting everyone to the table, passing plates, making space, and making sure no one felt left out. That instinct to gather, to share, to care became the foundation of Monique’s.

With years of experience in hospitality and food & beverage, along with a background in healthcare, I’ve had the opportunity to build and grow two companies. Those experiences taught me what it means to build something from the ground up, navigate change, and grow through every season of business. Through it all, I’ve learned that creating something meaningful always comes back to one thing: people.

Over the years, I’ve built meaningful relationships with local suppliers, venues, and fellow professionals who believe in creating something special for the communities they serve. From working with Sunrise Orchards in Rio Oso to connecting with Eden Gardens Event Center in Elk Grove, these relationships have become an important part of my journey.

Working with people who care about what they grow, the spaces they create, and the people they welcome matters to me. It’s about more than business—it’s about building relationships, supporting one another, and creating experiences that bring people together.

Every menu is created with intention. Every event is designed with heart. Every meal is an opportunity to bring people together.

What began as a love for cooking and hosting has grown into a mission to create experiences that feel easy, inclusive, intentional, and full of heart.
